The Boston Home Show

We owned and managed The Boston Home Show for over 10 years. The event drew over 30,000 homeowners and 500-600 exhibitors in one weekend to the Bayside Expo Center showcasing the latest in products and services for your home! Each year,  in one location, industry experts gathered with everything from kitchen and bath appliances to windows and siding.  This event division had a budget of over $1 million, involved sponsors such as Better Homes & Gardens Magazine, Xfinity, Verizon, Kahlua, and it was known as the best advertised Home Show in Massachusetts. The Bayside Expo Center has since closed, but this trade show showcases our ample experience in managing large scale events.

Northeast Systems Contractors Expo

We have managed the Northeast Security Systems Contractors Expo for the New England Alarm & Controls Council (NEACC) since 2017. The focus of the NEACC is to promote the education of the members of the six New England State associations, and to promote industry related education in the areas of IOT, home & commercial audio, integration, networking and home automation to New England security dealers, installers, manufacturers, distributors, and equipment suppliers. The vehicle of this focus is the annual Northeast Security Systems Expo. This event features over 100 exhibitors, hundreds of attendees to the one day B2B event, and ties in a networking reception and networking crawl to area restaurants in Downtown Worcester following the expo. We are the producers of this event and manage sales, marketing, accounting, and the operations of this event for NEACC. 

The Central MA Flower Show

We owned and managed The Central MA Flower Show for over 20 years. The event drew over thousands of homeowners and garden enthusiasts to the DCU Center in Worcester each spring. The event featured full scale live landscape displays and over 100 retail exhibitors. The show took a great deal of operational coordination, building the landscape displays for 4 days, including live plants that needed to be protected from the elements. The event showcased the latest in outdoor living for New England homeowners. 

Build Northeast Conference & Expo

The Build Northeast Conference & Expo was a economic development conference and expo hosted by 6 organizations in a collaborative effort; The Worcester Business Development Corporation, The National Association of Development Companies, Northeastern Economic Developers Association, Massachusetts Economic Development Council, Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Association. The 2.5 day event showcased a Opening Night Reception at the Beechwood Hotel, 5 Track Education Series throughout the 2 days and partnered with the Chamber of Commerce on their Business Expo which hosted over 150 exhibitors at the DCU Center. The event was sponsored by organizations such as National Grid, Norfolk Southern and esri.

The Reactory Summit

The Reactory Summit 2020 hosted by the Worcester Business Development Corporation is a one-day conference for over 150 professionals in the life sciences industry. Attendees will be looking to engage in the exchange of ideas, best practices, and latest trends in biomanufacturing and the future of life sciences in Massachusetts. The event is expected to draw over 150 biopharmaceutical and life sciences industry professionals.

The WBDC is currently redeveloping a 46-acre site of former Worcester State Hospital land into a master-planned biomanufacturing park called The Reactory. The progress of these eight shovel ready sites will be showcased during the event.

Pat Hoey Productions has been contracted as the event manager of this event. We are coordinating the educational content with event co-hosts (Massachusetts Biomedical Initatives, MassBIO, Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, and MassInc); managing sponsorship sales and overall event logistics. 

 

NEACC Annual Golf Outing

The New England Alarm & Controls Council has been a partnership between 6 New England State Security Associations for over 40 years. The mission of the association is to support education and networking of these security association’ members and the industry as a whole. The Annual Golf Outing each year provides a networking opportunity for over 120 participants encompassed in a day of fun. The golf begins at 8am and the event provides a grilled lunch, great hole challenges, cigar hole, prizes for all participants (thanks to the event’s great sponsors) and the famous Heritage Country Club steak dinner. We assist NEACC with the event coordination of this event, working closely with association volunteers on the planning, recruiting golf players, sponsorships, and managing the event accounting.
